I finally found the time this weekend to complete modeling this Helicopter. I had to do some modifications to cut down the polycount and optimize for gaming.

I started modeling a new Apache Helicopter that will be used for this game. I want to model my own work for now. This will help me practice and improve my 3D Modeling and texturing skills.

Programming: Loading a Hierarchy Mesh

I am coding Loading X Files as a Hierarchy. This will allow me to be more effective on the .X loading and animation process. In addition, it willl make the 3D Engine more robust and effective. Loading a Hierarchy: ID3DXAllocateHierarchy Interface

After a few days into looking at this and doing research, I finally managed to get it right. I still need to implement the animation features, but that should not be a problem.
Rebuilding the engine from scratch

I decided to destroy the current work I have done on this project and begin from scratch again. The reason, well I have learned much more and I'm ready to build the engine more effectively. In other words, I will write better and cleaner code. I will still use classes and I have created so far, the focus here is optimize as much as possible.
